Soccer Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Takes a Loss

Plymouth Whitemarsh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cheltenham Panthers. If Plymouth Whitemarsh were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Cheltenham when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Plymouth Whitemarsh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Cheltenham, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Plymouth Whitemarsh and Cheltenham could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Colonials will challenge Neshaminy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (358 vs. 140). Meanwhile, Cheltenham (ranked 310th) will meet Central Bucks South (ranked 127th) at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
