Basketball Recap: Redington Takes a Loss

Redington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Kenai Central Kardinals 51-15. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 59-35 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Redington's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Kenai Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redington will face off against Mt. Edgecumbe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kenai Central, they will square off against Homer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
