Soccer Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chaparral lost against Canyon Springs back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cowboys came up short against the Pioneers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Chaparral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Canyon Springs are ranked sixth).

Chaparral dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Canyon Springs, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Looking ahead, Chaparral will welcome Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Canyon Springs, they are taking a road trip to square off against Eldorado at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Eldorado will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Canyon Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
