Basketball Game Preview: Cromwell Cardinals vs. West Central Area Knights

Cromwell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabella Anderson, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. The match was Anderson's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Siiena Anderson, who went 7-for-12 en route to 19 points and five rebounds.

Cromwell was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 24-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Underwood typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday West Central Area proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 56-51 win over the Rockets.

West Central Area's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Cromwell, their win bumped their record up to 25-4.
