Baseball Recap: Whale Branch Takes a Loss

Whale Branch lost against Beaufort Academy on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Eagles, falling 18-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whale Branch saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Freddie Lawton, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Whale Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Beaufort Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Whale Branch will face off against Hardeeville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beaufort Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
