Basketball Recap: Cross Lanes Christian Warriors vs. Grace Christian
Cross Lanes Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against Grace Christian, falling 70-37. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grace Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.
Christian Shamblin and Landon Ballard certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Shamblin went 8 of 10 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds, while Ballard posted nine points and seven boards. That was a full 54.1% of Cross Lanes Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Lukas Clark also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.
