Basketball Recap: Four Winds/Minnewaukan Comes Up Short

Four Winds/Minnewaukan lost against Thompson back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians lost 65-44 to the Thompson Tommies. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Tommies are ranked tenth).

Four Winds/Minnewaukan's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-12. As for Thompson, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Four Winds/Minnewaukan will head out to challenge Grafton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grafton is on a three-game streak of home losses, Four Winds/Minnewaukan a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change. Thompson has already played their next matchup (against Four Winds), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
