Basketball Recap: Bergenfield Takes a Loss

Bergenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 58-28 loss at the hands of the Paramus Spartans. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in December of 2021.

Bergenfield now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Paramus, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Bergenfield and Paramus could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Bergenfield will face off against NV - Demarest at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th down 247 places (258 vs. 11). Meanwhile, Paramus (ranked 279th) will meet West Milford (ranked 74th) at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
