Lyman kept a clean sheet against Evans on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lyman also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Sebastian Restrepo and Nate Thompson scored both of Lyman's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Lyman's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 3-4-1. As for Evans, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lyman will take on Lake Brantley in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Evans and Apopka will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
