Ellicottville had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Franklinville Panthers by a score of 6-3. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly three runs.

Katie Lafferty made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
