Basketball Recap: Mountain View Mountain Lions vs. Thompson Valley Eagles
Mountain View was the 63-57 winner over Thompson Valley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Mountain View Mountain Lions fell to the Thompson Valley Eagles 73-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (67), the Mountain Lions still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Dylan Garland, who went 10-for-21 to rack up 27 points and six steals. The game was Garland's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Thompson Valley, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
Mountain View has already played their next matchup, a 52-47 loss against Roosevelt on the 11th. As for Thompson Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-57 defeat against Timnath on the 10th.
