It was a good run, but Faith Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Immanuel Baptist Fire by a score of 13-12.

Faith Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Litke, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Litke has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another was Aidan Baksik, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Immanuel Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

While Faith Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
