Soccer Recap: Whitmer Comes Up Short

Whitmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Findlay Trojans, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Whitmer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Findlay are ranked 35th).

Whitmer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Findlay, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-2.

Whitmer has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Otsego on the 20th. As for Findlay, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Olentangy Liberty on the 20th.
