Volleyball Game Preview: Waukegan Bulldogs vs. Libertyville Wildcats

Waukegan hasn't had much luck against Libertyville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Waukegan will be strutting in after a win while Libertyville will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Waukegan turned things around against Proviso East on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pirates.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Waukegan was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Libertyville entered their matchup against Saint Viator on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Lions.

Libertyville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22.

Libertyville's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Waukegan, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.
