Westlake is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Pocatello. The Westlake Thunder secured a 54-50 W over the Pocatello Thunder. Winning may never get old, but Westlake sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Westlake's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Pocatello, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Westlake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-68 defeat against Madison on the 3rd. As for Pocatello, they will head out on the road to challenge Twin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
