St. Charles West and MICDS played the most hotly contested game in Gateway - North this week, with St. Charles West eventually emerging with a 33-28 victory.
Warren County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,209 from 11,084. The advance stemmed from a 35-8 victory over the Warriors last week.
Winfield's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dustin Kneemiller has thrown for 184 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Kyle Lippmann has 22 catches for 204 yards. Jerel Hall leads the league in rushing with 1271 yards.
