Flowery Branch won the last time they met up with Chestatee, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Flowery Branch took the contest and then some with a 69-13 victory on Friday over Chestatee. The victory was familiar territory for Flowery Branch, who now have six in a row.
The match started off well for Flowery Branch, whose offense put up 48 first-half points. Meanwhile, Chestatee couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 48-0 heading into the break. The Flowery Branch defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup.
Flowery Branch will stay at home next week against Blessed Trinity at 7:30 PM. Flowery Branch will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Chestatee will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Blessed Trinity in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Blessed Trinity have averaged 47 points over the course of their past six games, so Flowery Branch might be in for a challenge.
