Basketball Recap: Chase County Piles Up the Points Against Hershey

Chase County won the last time they faced Hershey and things went their way on Friday too. The Chase County Longhorns blew past the Hershey Panthers 71-34.

Chase County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Rau, who went 7 of 9 en route to 23 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Rau a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Jablonski, who posted ten points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds.

Chase County's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Hershey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Chase County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-54 loss against Perkins County on the 25th. Hershey has also already played their next game (against Bridgeport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
