Basketball Game Preview: Frankfort Hot Dogs vs. Danville Warriors

Frankfort is 0-10 against Danville since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Frankfort Hot Dogs will challenge the Danville Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Frankfort has given up an average of 68.7 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Frankfort is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Friday. They came up short against Delphi Community, falling 65-40.

Jack Michael put forth a good effort for the losing side as he went 5-for-7 on his way to 14 points. What's more, he also posted a 71% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was RJ Cornman, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Danville humbled BELIEVE Circle City with a 66-28 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Frankfort's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Danville, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Frankfort was taken down by Danville 80-43 in their previous matchup back in February. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Danville's Cameron Mcmahon, who shot 59% from the field en route to 26 points and five assists.
