Soccer Recap: Swansboro Comes Up Short

Swansboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Coastal Christian Centurions. While losing is never fun, Swansboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while Coastal Christian are ranked 75th).

Swansboro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Coastal Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Swansboro will be playing at home against West Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coastal Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Topsail at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
