Football Game Preview: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. North Moore Mustangs + How To Watch

The Eastern Randolph Wildcats will take on the North Moore Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eastern Randolph has three straight victories, North Moore has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Eastern Randolph beats North Moore with 38 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Wildcats breezed past Southwestern Randolph to the tune of 38-10 last Friday. Considering the Wildcats have won five contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cade McCallum was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 341 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.2 yards per attempt. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. James Combs helped McCallum out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards and one score on only six carries.

Meanwhile, North Moore came up short against Northwood on Friday, falling 27-6. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Eastern Randolph's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for North Moore, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Eastern Randolph has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 156.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like North Moore struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 238.5 rushing yards.
