Volleyball Recap: Diman RVT Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brockton, Diman RVT was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bengals have posted since September 5th.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-91) Diman RVT actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-22, 25-19, 12-25, 15-11.

Joselaine Jimenez was nothing short of spectacular: she had 37 digs. Those 37 digs gave her a new career-high.

Diman RVT now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-5.

Coming up, Diman RVT will take on Blue Hills RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, they will face off against New Bedford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
