Cape Fear Academy won the last time they faced Epiphany, and Lila Hammer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hurricanes came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Hammer, who had 29 assists and four digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Cape Fear Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Epiphany, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Fear Academy will square off against Liberty Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Epiphany, they will host New Bern Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
