Baseball Recap: Platte County Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Platte County extended their postseason success on Friday against Rockwood Summit. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Falcons.

Platte County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Rockwood Summit, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 28-9.

Platte County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-4 win against Vianney on the 7th. Rockwood Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
