Basketball Recap: Lyman Memorial Takes a Loss

Lyman Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 63-62 to the Harvard Ellis Tech Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Harvard Ellis Tech's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Gilfoy, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aleck Thurber, who scored seven points.

Lyman Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Harvard Ellis Tech, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Lyman Memorial has already played their next match, a 61-60 defeat against Tourtellotte Memorial on the 14th. Harvard Ellis Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
