Basketball Recap: STX Snags 11th Victory in Last 13 Games

It's playoff time, and STX had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Monroe County HomeSchool W Warriors 63-45 on Monday.

Caedmon Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 64% from the field to rack up 24 points. Another player making a difference was Cisco Moreno, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

STX smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive contests.

STX has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Monroe County HomeSchool W and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

As of now, neither STX nor Monroe County HomeSchool W have any future games scheduled.
