 Coventry put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Ellington Knights as the Coventry Patriots made off with  a  9-2 win. Considering Coventry has won three contests by more than six  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Brandon White looked comfortable as he  tossed 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks every time he's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Evan Menzel, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dustin Menzel, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Coventry's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Ellington, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Coventry will head out on the road to  face off against  RHAM at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Coventry: 3, RHAM: 3) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Ellington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Enfield at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. Enfield is coming into the  matchup with four straight  wins on the road,  so Ellington will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
