Basketball Recap: Stringtown Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Stringtown had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took down the Stonewall Longhorns 47-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-44 back in December of 2024.

Stringtown has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Stonewall, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-6 record.

Stringtown has already played their next contest, a 50-47 win against Stratford on the 25th. As for Stonewall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-26 victory against Strother on the 25th.
