Soccer Recap: Bishop Walsh Comes Up Short

Bishop Walsh lost against Frankfort back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Bishop Walsh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 148th in Maryland, while Frankfort are ranked 38th in West Virginia).

Bishop Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-2. As for Frankfort, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4-3.

Coming up, Bishop Walsh will head out to square off against Chestnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Frankfort does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
