Ravenswood typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday St. Albans proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Red Devils 2-1. For the Red Dragons, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

St. Albans had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 26-24, 15-4.

St. Albans' victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Ravenswood, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Coincidentally, St. Albans and Ravenswood will both be playing Sissonville the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will host the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Dragons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
