Football Recap: Las Lomas Takes a Loss

Las Lomas and Maria Carrillo squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Las Lomas had to settle for second. They fell 35-31 to the Pumas. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Estefan Ramirez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Maria Carrillo, picking up 219 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also punching in one TD on the ground. Ramirez really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 84 yards. Cooper Bluestone was another key player, having thrown for 353 yards and three touchdowns.

Las Lomas now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Maria Carrillo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
