League recap: Saucon Valley stuns Notre Dame-Green Pond in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Saucon Valley, who took down 320th ranked Notre Dame-Green Pond, 24-13. Keith Mosher threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 19 yards in the win.

Chris Mamay of the Panthers ran for the longest rushing play in Colonial this season against the Crusaders last week. Mamay's team bested Notre Dame-Green Pond as he sprinted for 83 yards on the play and finished with 110 in all.

Wilson Area's dynamic duo of Ryan Dailey and Zack Bogoly proved tough for Southern Lehigh to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dailey threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns and Bogoly had 82 yards receiving. Izayah Johnson helped Wilson Area's passing attack out by catching five balls for 39 yards.

Philip Vass was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 30 carries, he ran for 205 yards as Bangor lost to the Spartans. Michael Clarke also contributed to the rushing game with 38 yards on the ground.

Wilson Area's Dailey and Bogoly have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dailey has thrown for 981 yards this season, while Bogoly, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 34 catches for 640 yards. Vass from the Slaters leads the league in rushing with 1266 yards.

A big matchup in Colonial this week will be when Bangor takes on Northern Lehigh. As it stands, Frank Scagliotta's team is in second, while the Bulldogs are in fifth.

Matt Evancho's team was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 10th to seventh in the league. The Panthers defeated Chuck Muller's team 24-13 earlier in the week.
