Softball Recap: Anna Rockets vs. Houston Wildcats
After losing to Houston the last time they met, Anna decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Anna Rockets skirted past the Houston Wildcats 2-1.
Taylor Dye spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks.
On the hitting side, Brenna Cobb was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, and a stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played.
Anna's win bumped their record up to 9-14-2. As for Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Anna will head out on the road to take on Botkins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Houston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
