Baseball Recap: Trenton Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Trenton took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Whitewright. Trenton was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Whitewright earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Paxton Gonzalez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Trenton dropped their record down to 9-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Whitewright, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

As of now, neither Trenton nor Whitewright have any future games scheduled.
