Softball Recap: Cuyahoga Falls Takes a Loss

Cuyahoga Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Aurora Greenmen, falling 11-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Black Tigers of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Cuyahoga Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ary Sayarath, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Mariah Bray also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Cuyahoga Falls' loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Aurora, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuyahoga Falls will head out to square off against Barberton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aurora, they will venture away from home to challenge Austintown-Fitch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
