Menaul had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Coronado Leopards, posting a 79-31 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Leopards recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

J'Quan Samuels was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 25 points and 12 boards. Those 25 points gave him a new career-high. Jiordani Guillet was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Menaul wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-52 win against Hozho Academy on the 29th. As for Coronado, they have also already played their next game, a 58-47 loss against Legacy Academy on the 29th.
