Basketball Recap: Ar-We-Va Comes Up Short

Ar-We-Va was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-27 loss at the hands of the Woodbury Central Wildcats. The Rockets lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 74-9 score last time.

Ar-We-Va's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Woodbury Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Ar-We-Va has already played their next game, a 46-16 loss against Coon Rapids-Bayard on the 14th. As for Woodbury Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-38 win against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove on the 14th.
