             After two games on the road, Xavier College Prep is heading back home. They will host the Valley Vista Monsoon  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The last four games Xavier College Prep has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 Xavier College Prep's upcoming  matchup probably won't be as stressful as their last, when they took on another nationally ranked opponent: Los Alamitos, who was ranked 22nd  at the time (Xavier College Prep was ranked 16th). Xavier College Prep had just enough and edged Los Alamitos out  2-1.
 Xavier College Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-17,  25-21.
 Xavier College Prep can attribute much of their success to   Selah O?Connor, who  had five  digs and two  aces, and   Mattea Saunders, who  had 13  digs. O?Connor has been hot recently, having also posted 14 or more  assists the last three times she's  played.
 Meanwhile, Valley Vista posted their biggest  victory since August 29th on Tuesday. Everything went their way against West Point as Valley Vista made off with  a  3-0 win.
 Valley Vista's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping West Point between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18,  25-18.
 Valley Vista's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Julia Wilson, who  had four  digs and 25  assists.  Ralynn De Jesus was another key player,  getting 11  digs.
 Xavier College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Valley Vista, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Wednesday's  match:  Xavier College Prep has really dialed in their serving game this season,  having  averaged 7.8  aces per game. However, it's not like Valley Vista struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.6. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
