Soccer Recap: Midwest City Takes a Loss

Midwest City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lawton Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Midwest City of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2018.

Midwest City's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Lawton, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11.

As of now, neither Midwest City nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
