Baseball Recap: Troy Christian Eagles vs. National Trail Blazers
Troy Christian took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against National Trail, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past the Blazers 5-4. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Judah Simmons made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Troy Christian is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 1-2 otherwise. Simmons was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
