Soccer Recap: Centennial Has No Trouble Against La Joya Community

Centennial kept a clean sheet against La Joya Community on Friday. Everything went their way against the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos as they made off with a 9-0 win. That nine goal margin sets a new team best for the Coyotes this season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5-3. As for La Joya Community, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will take on Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunrise Mountain is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for La Joya Community, they will square off against Copper Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
