Baseball Game Preview: Foster Bulldogs vs. Tyee Titans

Foster hasn't had much luck against Tyee recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Titans at 3:30 p.m. Foster has given up an average of 14.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Foster is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Highline, falling 12-2. On the bright side, the two- run performance marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring game to date.

Foster saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Marshall, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Fabian Esqueda also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Tyee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 7-0 to Cedarcrest.

Foster's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tyee, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-7.

Foster suffered a grim 18-6 defeat to Tyee in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
