Volleyball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Sand Creek Scorpions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Scorpions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Sierra lost, don't look at Chelsea Rodriguez Mendoza. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs.

Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Sand Creek, they moved to 7-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Sierra has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against La Junta on the 25th. As for Sand Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Mitchell on the 28th.
