Soccer Recap: Wilson Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Wilson's and Spruce's match on Monday was close at halftime, but Wilson turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. The Wilson Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand the Spruce Timberwolves a 3-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

They hit Spruce with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kellan Davidson, Nicholas Duplan, and Benjamin Kelley.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Spruce, they now have a losing record at 2-3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson will square off against Poteet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spruce, they will venture away from home to challenge Seagoville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
