Basketball Recap: Arborbrook Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Covenant Classical

Arborbrook Christian Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They claimed a resounding 66-19 win over the Covenant Classical Warriors. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Parker Beaver and Allie Perry certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Beaver posted four points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Perry put up six points.

Arborbrook Christian Academy pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Covenant Classical, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Arborbrook Christian Academy will square off against Ambassador Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Arborbrook Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. As for Covenant Classical, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-31 win against Valor Preparatory Academy on the 10th.
