Basketball Recap: Bethlehem Comes Up Short

Bethlehem has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 53-46 to the Central Yellow Jackets on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles/Banshees came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 54th).

Bethlehem's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Bethlehem will face off against Washington County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will square off against Sacred Heart at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Sacred Heart's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.
