Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sun Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Gray Stone Day Knights 75-32. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Jaylin Powell had a dynamite game for Sun Valley, going 7 for 13 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Jeffery, who posted ten points and four steals.

Sun Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Sun Valley's record is now 7-8. As for Gray Stone Day, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Sun Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Weddington at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Weddington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.4 points per game this season. Gray Stone Day has already played their next contest, a 57-19 loss against Union Academy on the 14th.
