Softball Recap: Trumann Comes Up Short

Trumann made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Nettleton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 7-5 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Trumann's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Nettleton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Trumann didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-3 victory against Buffalo Island Central on the 17th. As for Nettleton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Greene County Tech on the 17th.
