Football Recap: Milpitas' Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Mountain View on Saturday, Milpitas came back down to earth. The Trojans fell 31-26 to the Merced Bears on Saturday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Trojans, who until this game were averaging 14.13 points allowed.

Despite the loss, Milpitas still got an impressive performance from Bren David, who threw for 210 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 60 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.
