Baseball Recap: Obion County Extends Winning Streak to Four

Obion County won against Haywood last Monday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Obion County Rebels' way against the Lake County Falcons as the Obion County Rebels made off with an 18-4 win. That looming 18-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rebels yet this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Obion County, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.8 runs. As for Lake County, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Obion County and Lake County will both be playing Peabody the next time they take the field. Lake County will head out to face Peabody at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Obion County will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
